When your products enter the US market, they must require FCC certification, otherwise they will face the risk of being inspected by the customs. Obtained FCC certification, there are three different certification modes for different products: FCC-VOC (general electronic products) FCC-DOC (computer peripheral products) FCC-ID (wireless products)
Different certification modes require testing laboratories to obtain FCC accreditation, and there are different requirements for application, testing and declaration.
Verification is the process by which the manufacturer takes certain steps to ensure that the product meets the corresponding technical standards.
Declaration of Conformity (DoC) is a process by which a responsible party takes certain steps to ensure that the product meets the corresponding technical standards.
Certification is the process by which the FCC signs equipment approval based on application and test data.
FCC certification steps:
1. Ask for the FCC certification application form from our company, fill it in and return it to our company.
2. The customer signs a commissioned inspection contract with our company.
3. Send samples for testing, and prepare electrical schematic diagrams, external/internal photos, oscillator circuit block diagrams, user manual identification, working principle descriptions, etc. (according to the product only).
4. After passing the test, the FCC certificate will be issued by the tester
5. After an enterprise obtains FCC certification, it can use the FCC mark on its products.
Note: FCC ID needs to submit information
1. Application form for opening a case, contact information of the applicant
2, authorization letter (1.731FORM 2. authorization letter 3 copies 3. confidentiality agreement and non-confidentiality agreement)
3. Technical data: 1) Technical parameters: frequency/working mode (FM DSSS) working parameters/output power. 2) Instructions (including warning words). 3) Circuit diagram. 4) Block diagram (indicating crystal oscillator, etc.). 5) Line description. 6) Description of frequency modulation method, etc.
